Dodge Charger 2006 Specs

The Dodge Charger NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race car, with its aggressive styling and bold crosshair grille, was developed with as much attitude as with powerful performance and winning innovation. From its Viper-like headlamps to the style of its rear-end fascia and signature quarter windows, the Dodge Charger race car shares many popular design cues with the production 2006 Dodge Charger that hit Dodge dealers showrooms in 2005.

New for the 2006 season, the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Dodge Charger stock car is faster, more powerful and more aerodynamic than ever before. Continuous improvements from advanced engineering and technological innovation will help give the Dodge an edge for the 2006 season.

The development of the race car was led by Dodge Motorsports Engineering with the support of each of Dodge’s primary Nextel Cup Series teams: Evernham Motorsports, Petty Enterprises, Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates and Penske Racing South.
